Honor Black History Month by creating beaded jewelry inspired by African patterns. Learn about the cultural significance of beadwork. Materials provided—bring your own beads if you'd like.

Join us as we honor Black History Month by exploring the rich tradition of beadwork in African American culture. In this hands-on workshop, you'll create your own beaded jewelry inspired by vibrant African patterns while learning about the cultural significance behind the craft. Beads have long been used to tell stories, symbolize heritage, and celebrate identity. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crafter, this event is a great opportunity to connect with history and express your creativity. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own beads for a personalized touch. Let’s celebrate Black history through art, culture, and craft!
