Calling all CINEPHILES! We have a program for YOU!

Join us Friday, September 23rd from 7pm-10pm, in screening the MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival. You (the audience) will watch 10 short films that run for approximately 120 minutes--about the same run-time as one feature film. Not only do MANHATTAN SHORT filmgoers get the chance to watch the BEST of the year’s international short films, every audience member also plays an integral part in deciding the winner by casting their vote for their favorite film and actor. Our worldwide audience determines the ultimate victor!

More info:
MANHATTAN SHORT has announced the Final Ten selections for its 25th Annual Short Film Festival, a worldwide event taking place in over 400 venues across six continents between September 22 and October 2, 2022. MANHATTAN SHORT is the only event of its kind. The Final Ten screen simultaneously across the world during a one-week period, with the Best Film and Best Actor awards determined by ballots cast by the audiences in each participating venue. By virtue of their selection by MANHATTAN SHORT, each short film is automatically Oscar-qualified.

Please note: This event is 21+. Light refreshments will be provided by the library.
